The Fiesta del Cine 2026 will take place in Spain from Monday, October 19 to Thursday, October 22, with tickets starting at €3.50 at participating cinemas. However, chains such as Yelmo, Cinesa, and Ocine are advertising higher prices for premium halls, special editions, and certain seating; advance sale began on October 14.
The campaign allows watching the films showing without prior accreditation, but the final cost varies depending on where and how you buy. The same film can cost €3.50, €4.90, €5.50, or €8.90 even before some surcharges: hence it’s important to know the terms for each venue before booking.
Fiesta del Cine: Prices for Cinesa, Yelmo, and Ocine
The Federation of Spanish Cinemas confirms the four promotional days and the general price of €3.50. Each chain subsequently specifies which experiences cost more. This comparison uses the rates announced for the October edition, not the usual prices outside the campaign.
| Chain and venue | Advertised ticket |
|---|---|
| Cinesa Conventional | From €3.50 |
| Cinesa LUXE | From €4.90 |
| Yelmo, traditional seating | €3.50 |
| Yelmo Premium and Junior at Plenilunio | €5.50, with exceptions |
| Yelmo Luxury and 4D-Emotion | €8.90 |
| Ocine Standard | From €3.50 |
| Ocine Urban and Premium | From €4.90 |
The biggest listed difference appears in Yelmo’s official terms. The Luxury and 4D-Emotion rooms cost €8.90; Premium and Junior at Plenilunio €5.50. But the chain keeps €3.50 in complexes such as La Vaguada and in the Premium venues at Puerta Europa and Peñacastillo. In the premium zones of Tres Aguas and Islazul, an extra euro may be added, and 3D sessions carry an additional €1 surcharge.
In Cinesa’s official rate, the price rises from €3.50 at conventional complexes to €4.90 at LUXE. The company also warns of surcharges for 3D, IMAX, iSENSE, D-BOX, ScreenX, XL and VIP seating. Ocine also distinguishes between Standard rooms and Urban or Premium establishments, and warns of possible surcharges for equipment and purchasing.
The highest price in this comparison is not the general Fiesta del Cine rate: it corresponds to a specific modality. That is precisely where the value of checking the session and chosen seat before paying lies, rather than sticking with a single promotional price.
How to buy tickets from October 14
Advance sale began on Wednesday, October 14 at box offices, ticket machines, and the cinemas’ digital channels. It is not necessary to register on the website or request accreditation: simply select a valid show for the 19th, 20th, 21st, or 22nd.
The organizers explain in their FAQ that all films on the lineup of the participating cinemas take part, although certain screenings and events may be subject to the venue’s conditions. Online purchases may also incur handling fees. In addition, the discount does not stack with age-based offers, coupons, or usual promotions.
The Youth Cultural Voucher can indeed be used according to applicable conditions; Cinesa, for example, indicates a specific procedure using a voucher that is redeemed later. Tickets and meal menus are separate purchases, though some chains offer bundled deals during the campaign.
Which cinemas participate and how to pay the minimum
The list of participating cinemas can be checked by location on the official website. The lineup is not identical across Spain: the viewer must choose a cinema and then check which films and showtimes it offers between Monday and Thursday. A showing of a film included in the campaign may stop being the cheapest option if a premium format is chosen or handling fees are added.
The October promotion is different from the Fiesta del Cine edition held in June, although both share the basic price. Consulting an old guide can lead to confusion about dates and the lineup, especially if it appears in search results.
The practical advice is simple: verify that the cinema is participating, look for a standard session of €3.50, and review the final total before confirming the purchase. Those who prefer a premium seat or special screenings can also take advantage of the four days, but at a different price.
